Districtwide Advising Services

MATC's Pathway Offices Districtwide are spaces where professional staff provide holistic support and retention measures to aid in each student's success.

Academic Advising

After Admissions, an MATC Academic Pathway Advisor is one of your first contacts to help you start your academic journey to your diploma or degree. An Academic Pathway Advisor will help you determine what classes you should take first and explain more about your program of study.

Academic & Career Pathway Open House

You will be invited to attend an Academic & Career Pathway Open House during your first semester here at MATC. This important event will introduce you to a variety of supportive people and services that will help you map out your college plan and lay the foundation for your future.

Pathway Advisor

Every program student will be assigned a Pathway Advisor from your degree or diploma program. Your Pathway Advisor will help you plan your coursework each semester until you graduate. In addition, help you stay on track by offering coaching support too. Pathway Advisors aim to help you achieve your academic goals by working with you to create a college success plan, connect to campus or community resources, or overcome barriers. We are here to help you from registration to graduation! Contact your Pathway Advisor at least twice each semester. If you haven't been assigned a pathway advisor, please reach out to your Academic and Career Pathway by email to schedule an advising appointment.
