MATC offers an affordable, high-quality path to a four-year bachelor’s degree through 35+ college and university partners. You can also seamlessly transfer many MATC credits to virtually any four-year college or university in Wisconsin, and to others across the nation.
Dual Enrollment
Jump-start your college and career journey through MATC's dual credit programs! These programs allow eligible high school students to earn high school and college credit while taking MATC classes for little or no cost. Whether they take classes online, at MATC or in high schools, students can take transferable classes, explore careers or earn a career credential before leaving high school.

Academic Success Centers
MATC offers eight unique Academic Success Centers focused on helping students in specific subject areas. Each center is staffed with people who can help you achieve your goals.
Math Success Lab
Get help with your math homework and exam preparation from peer coaches:
- In Person: Downtown Milwaukee Campus | Room C353
Monday thru Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. - Virtual: via Bb Colloborate
Saturday, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m

And, check out the Chess Club! The game is a tool for success in math and teaches strategic thinking. Chess Club meets Monday through Friday, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus in Lounge of Room C353.
Testing
MATC provides the opportunity to take many different tests related to earning college credit, apprenticeship preparation, GED, Adult Basic Education and more. We also proctor exams required by other colleges and universities.

Uniquely Abled Academy
The Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is designed to provide students on the Autism spectrum the hands-on training needed to prepare for a career as a computer numerical control (CNC) operator.
