Accreditation

Milwaukee Area Technical College is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Accreditation provides the following benefits:

Gives assurance that students will be able to attain definite educational outcomes
Pledges that students will have qualified instructors and a high quality up-to-date curriculum
Enables eligible students to participate in student assistance programs such as federal grants and loans
Assures employers that MATC is motivated to provide quality education.
Eases credit transfer between institutions
