Student Accommodation Discrimination Complaints |
MATC is committed to providing an accessible climate and environment for all students, employees, visitors and community. Ombudsperson |
MATC’s Office of the Ombudsperson (or Ombuds) is an alternate resource available for students and employees to informally raise and address college-related concerns, issues or conflicts. The office is guided by the principles of confidentiality, independence and neutrality and provides a safe, off-the-record and non-judgmental space for problem-solving and conflict resolution. |
APPEALS |

Administrative Withdrawal Appeals |
Students who are administratively withdrawn for non-attendance from a course or multiple courses may appeal and request reinstatement if they disagree with their administrative withdrawal. |
Student Account Appeal |
Students are responsible for payment of tuition and fee charges for all classes in which they register. If a student encounters extenuating circumstances that impact their ability to attend and/or complete their registered courses, they may request an appeal to potentially reduce tuition and fee charges. |
Academic Suspension Appeal |
To appeal an Academic Suspension for failure to meet the four standards of Good Academic Standing: Board Policy on Standards of Academic Success (pdf) See Board Policy on Standards of Academic Success above for instructions on Filing an Appeal |
Grade Appeals |
To appeal a final course grade only (not for conflicts regarding course content or grade disputes for individual assignments, essays, homework etc.): |

Credit for Prior Learning Appeal |

Distance Education Conducted Across State Lines Complaints |
