Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Student Resource Center is here to help you reach your academic, professional and personal goals by connecting you to the support you need on campus and in the community. The center is home to the college’s food pantry along with our Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) team and on-site partners, including the Center for Driver’s License Recovery, FSET (Foodshare, Employment and Training), Legal Action of Wisconsin, Transitional Housing Assistance and the UWM Educational Opportunity Center. Mental Health Counseling Services and Resources
MATC Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
We understand college is difficult. It's essential to seek out help when you need it. MATC has multiple mental health resources to help you work through whatever challenges you may be facing.
CAPS counselors provide students with a safe, non-judgmental space to discuss a variety of issues. Services are offered in-person, virtually, or by phone.

The CDLRE program assists low-income individuals who have a suspended or revoked Wisconsin driver’s license through legal representation and case management services. Legal services include, but are not limited to, helping identify alternatives to financial obligations in court such as affordable payment plans, supervised community service, or other appropriate options related to quickly obtaining a valid Wisconsin driver's license. Case management provides the necessary follow up and program support to help each participant complete all aspects of their license recovery plan.
