We all have untapped potential, gifts and abilities to excel beyond the mediocre life...Scholarships and grants make a huge burden lifted, especially when someone considers going back to school later in life, who has a family and full-time or part-time job.
Support MATC Students
The MATC Foundation is dedicated to making college accessible to accelerate careers and deliver skilled talent to our region’s workforce. More than two-thirds of MATC students qualify for financial aid, but without scholarships and grants provided through the generosity of private donors, many struggle to pay for their education, delaying their dreams to build a better life for themselves and their families.

The MATC Foundation strategically partners with the region’s businesses and multiple industries to focus philanthropic and investment resources on the college’s innovative approaches to developing the future workforce.
GAP YEAR
The MATC Gap Year Program provides recent high school graduates the opportunity to learn more about careers MATC can prepare them for and the extraordinary options available to those that call metro Milwaukee home.
Supplies for Success
The Supplies for Success Fund helps students secure required materials, removing yet another barrier to graduation and workforce entry.
Student Emergency Fund
More than their counterparts at four-year colleges, MATC students are likely to come from low-income households and be first-generation college students. Often they attend school part time while working or taking care of children. They may be single parents, have a disability or be a returning veteran. An unexpected event can easily derail their education — a job loss, a sick child, a flat tire — and put them at risk of dropping out of school. Private donations help students weather temporary financial challenges so they can stay in school and complete their programs.
UNIQUELY ABLED ACADEMY
The Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is designed to provide individuals with Level 1 autism the hands-on training and high-tech skills needed to prepare for a career as a computer numerical control (CNC) operator.
