Campus Meal Plan for MATC Students

Convenient and Affordable Way to Enjoy Meals on Campus

What is the Campus Meal Plan?
The Campus Meal Plan includes Dining Dollars purchased in $150 blocks. The Dining Dollars can be used to purchase any item sold in the Campus Café or Stormer Café. All items sold in the Campus or Stormer cafés will be tax free when using Dining Dollars.

What is the cost of the meal plan?
The Dining Dollars are sold in blocks of $150.

What is the minimum amount of meals I need to purchase?
You need to purchase Dining Dollars in $150 blocks.

What if I want to purchase more than $150 for the semester?
You can purchase as many $150 blocks of Dining Dollars as you would like per semester.

When can I start to use the Campus Meal Plan?
Once the Dining Dollars are purchased, either online or in person, it may take up to 24 hours to activate your Dining Dollars.

How do I purchase a Campus Meal Plan?

You have three options:

  • Option 1: If you want to use financial aid money
    After you have received your award of financial aid, typically August 15 and January 2, go to any campus Bookstore, in person where available, to request the purchase of the Dining Dollars. The Bookstore staff will provide you the necessary paperwork that needs to be completed and will notify you if you have sufficient funds to purchase the Dining Dollars. You may also purchase Dining Dollars online by visiting the MATC online Bookstore, select Campus Meal Plan, and select the amount of the plan you wish to purchase, agree to the terms and proceed to checkout. If you do not have sufficient financial aid available, please contact the number indicated on the website for further assistance.
    Important: This process could take up to 24 hours before you can begin using the meal plan.
  • Option 2: If you want to pay with cash or credit card
    Purchase at Stormer Pass Event Management System, also known as Account Management Center (AMC), located by the Campus Café or the Stormer cafés. Activation is automatic and occurs immediately.
  • Option 3: Online
    Visit any Campus Café, Stormer Café Register Kiosk at each campus, or online at
    MATC E-Accounts. Request the purchase of Dining Dollars, complete the necessary paperwork and pay for your block of Dining Dollars. No paperwork is needed for E-Accounts; you will be able to use your Dining Dollars immediately.

How do I track my Dining Dollars?
You may check your Dining Dollars balance at any Stormer Pass station on campus or via E-Accounts. The amount of remaining Dining Dollars also will be printed on your receipt.

What if I do not have enough Dining Dollars in my plan to pay for the items I want?
The food service cashier will utilize all your plan dollars and then you can pay with cash or credit card for the remaining balance.

 

Redeeming Your Dining Dollars

Where can I redeem my Dining Dollars?
You can redeem your Dining Dollars at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus Café, and Stormer Café at the Mequon, Oak Creek and West Allis campuses.

Do my Dining Dollars ever expire?
All unused Dining Dollars expire on the last day of the Summer semester, usually the end of July.

How do I identify what is included with Dining Dollars?
You may purchase any item in the Campus Café or Stormer Café.

How will the Dining Dollars be deducted from my Campus Meal Plan?
Present your Stormer Pass to the food service cashier prior to purchasing your meal. The cashier will ring up your menu selection, and swipe your Stormer Pass to deduct the purchase from your Dining Dollar account.

What is the refund policy?
Refunds will be allowed in $150 blocks only; partial blocks will not be refunded. Go to any Student Life Office to begin the refund process.

Can I use Dining Dollars to purchase food online via the Toast App?
Yes, download the Toast application on your phone. Open the application, select either MATC Campus Café Downtown or MATC Stormer Café Oak Creek. Select the food items you wish to order. At checkout, select “pay at pickup.” When you arrive to pick up your food, you will need to present your student ID to the cashier who will ring up your purchase and deduct payment from your Dining Dollars.
