Respiratory Season
Respiratory season typically starts around November, peaks in January or February, and ends in late March or early April. During this time, colds, infections and sinusitis are common. If you are sick, limit contact with others as much as possible to keep from infecting them.
Here’s how to stay safe and keep others safe:
- Wash your hands (link) to prevent the spread of viruses like RSV (link), flu, Norovirus (link) and COVID-19.
- Consider vaccination for influenza, RSV and COVID-19: Adult Vaccine Schedule (link).
- Wear a mask if you like. MATC is a mask-friendly campus.
- Review Respiratory Virus Guidance (link).
Students with an MATC student ID have access to limited healthcare services through Froedtert Health. Learn more at FastCare (link).
