Dr. Sadique Isahaku
Sadique Isahaku, Ph.D., was named vice provost in March 2025 and serves as the chief academic officer of the college.
Previously he served for 10 years as dean of MATC’s General Education Academic and Career Pathway.
Dr. Isahaku received his early education in Ghana and Nigeria. He graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business economics.
After completing his mandatory national service, Dr. Isahaku worked in the oil industry as an accountant. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in welfare economics and a master’s degree in economic planning and community development from The Arctic University of Norway. He earned his doctorate in higher education leadership and policy analysis from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.
In 1998 he became an assistant professor of education at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin, and served there for eight years. He then moved to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, coordinating career and technical education programs in all of the state’s adult correctional facilities, and pioneering several education development initiatives.
