Ginny Finn
Virginia “Ginny” R. Finn was named acting executive director of the MATC Foundation Inc., the college’s philanthropic partner in student success, in June 2025.
Finn started at the MATC Foundation in February 2023 as chief development officer. She has been instrumental in increasing and sustaining philanthropic support awarded to MATC students through the MATC Foundation, as well as advancing student success and college program initiatives.
She has two decades of experience in development, communications and executive nonprofit leadership, including past roles at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s College of Letters and Science, ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, and YWCA Southeast Wisconsin.
Finn received a bachelor’s degree in political science and theater from Coe College, and a master’s degree in theater and stage management from Purdue University. She earned a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1996. She also received certificates in strategic nonprofit leadership from Harvard Business School and in nonprofit revenue strategy from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
