NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF THE MILWAUKEE AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE (MATC) DISTRICT, WISCONSIN
A Public Hearing of the MATC District Board Appointment Committee is scheduled for
Monday, March 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., via Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86229816908 and in Room M210 of the MATC Milwaukee Campus, 1015 North Sixth Street, Milwaukee, WI. Candidates must appear to present and be interviewed by the committee on their qualifications to serve on the MATC District Board.
Applications submitted for consideration will be reviewed for the following three (3) MATC Board positions meeting the following criteria:
- One (1) Employer, 15 or more Employees - Citlali Mendieta-Ramos
- One (1) Additional Member - Raynetta Hill
- One (1) Elected Official - Supreme Moore Omokunde
Candidates must provide two letters of reference, be present, and be interviewed to qualify or appointment to the District Board. Immediately following the public hearing on Monday, March 3, 2025, the Committee will hold a meeting for the following purposes:
- Formulation and approval of a Plan of Representation for the MATC District Board.
- The appointment of one (1) individual representing Employers with 15 or More Employees, one (1) individual an Additional Member, and one (1) individual representing an Elected Official for terms expiring June 30, 2028.
- Other business.
