Replacement Board positions
A Public Hearing of the MATC District Board Appointment Committee is scheduled for Friday, February, February 13, 2023 at 9 a.m. The Public Meeting of the Milwaukee Area Technical College District Board Appointment Committee will meet in an open session using this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83716096693?jst=2 and in Room M210 of the MATC Milwaukee Campus, 1015 North Sixth Street, Milwaukee, WI. Milwaukee Area Technical College is holding this open session electronically pursuant to the Wisconsin Department of Justice, March 16, 2020, guidance regarding Wisconsin Open Meetings Law. The public will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the candidates and are asked to submit their request to speak prior to the meeting via an email to generalcounsel@matc.edu, no later than Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
Applications submitted for consideration were reviewed for the following MATC Board positions meeting the following criteria;
- One (1) School District Administrator
- One (1) Additional Member
The candidates for these positions are:
- Katrice Cotton
- Gale Pence
- Charlotte Hayslett
Candidates must provide two letters of reference, be present, and be interviewed to qualify or appointment to the District Board. Immediately following the public hearing on Friday, February 13, 2026, the Committee will hold a meeting for the following purposes:
- Formulation and approval of a Plan of Representation for the MATC District Board.
- The appointment of one (1) School District Board Administrator expiring June 30, 2026.
- The appointment of one (1) Additional Member expiring June 30, 2028.
