THE MATC PROMISE FOR ADULTS
The Fall 2025 application for Adult Promise is open now thru August 1st! Apply here.
The Promise for Adults supports adult learners (age 24 and older) who attended college previously, earned some credits, but did not earn a degree.
- Eligible students can receive free tuition after other financial aid grants and scholarships are applied. Programs covered by the Adult Promise can be found here: View the list of eligible programs (link).
- Please note (new beginning with Spring 2025 cohort):
- Technical diploma students can receive up to 4 semesters of Promise support (if tuition charges remain after other financial aid is applied).
- Associate degree students can receive up to 7 semesters of Promise support (if tuition charges remain after other financial aid is applied)
- Note: The cost of books, program fees, and equipment are not covered by Promise.
- Students receive support to stay on track to graduate and connect to a career
- Get connected to an in-demand career in as little as one to two years — or start a four-year degree
