CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MATC SPRING 2024 GRADUATES
On Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, more than 1,500 students were awarded with associate degrees, technical diplomas, apprenticeship and adult high school diplomas during MATC’s 2024 Spring Commencement. Ana Simpson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, delivered the keynote address. MATC’s Outstanding Technical Diploma Graduate Gabrielle Armon-Wickers, a Financial Services student, kicked off the commencement by welcoming students and staff into the arena. Outstanding Associate Degree Graduate Cheron Copeland, a Nutrition and Dietetic Technician student, was the student speaker. Associate of Science Graduate Soumaila Sawadogo received the President’s Award, which recognizes student academic achievement and contributions to the college and the community. The commencement was the final one for MATC President Dr. Vicki J. Martin, who is retiring from the college this summer after 10 years as president.
